YOUTH AND FAMILY MINISTRY
Faith development is important for all ages and stages of life. Northminster offers a variety of opportunities to grow with God and learn more about your faith for our youngest friends to our sensational seniors. Come and learn more about your faith walk with us!
AGAPE KIDS CLUB: The Agape Kids Club invites children entering Kindergarten through 5th grade to join us after school starting September 15th Wednesday afternoons from 3:30pm-5pm. Once a month we will have a special event. (Our opening event is the Water Olympics!) On other later afternoons the Agape Kids Club will be broken into smaller groups per age group and help with homework, have a short Bible Study (age appropriate), snack time, and have a fun ending activity. The cost is $5 for the first child in a family, $4 for the second, $3 for third, $2 for fourth or more per session. This will cover our supplies and help with staffing. If cost is prohibitive please let us know as scholarships are available to participate.
The ELEMENTARY Class is designed to introduce our youngest friends to a wide range of stories from the Bible. Our Sunday School teachers recognize each young friend has a different way of engaging with the story and implements storytelling, arts and crafts, movement, drama, and music to the lessons.
The MIDDLERS dig deeper through Bible study, learning about our worship service, and other questions that arise for our budding theologians in their life and in the world they live in.
The SENIOR HIGH class are focuses on a wide range of topics from the Bible, theology, faith questions, and current events. Our Junior and Senior friends help drive this interactive class with their interests and questions.
ARTS & MUSIC CAMP is held the last week of June and explore Music & Arts through faith.
CONFIRMATION CLASS is held yearly based on the number of youth who are ready to make a profession of faith and join Northminster as a member. Contact the pastor for more information if you or your youth is interested in joining the church!
